"What you do in life by yourself doesn't mean as much as what you accomplish with a group of people. Sigma Chi was one of the greatest things that happened to me. I really appreciate what it has done for me in my lifetime, and I hope I can continue to give something back."
--Mike Ditka (Head Coach of the Chicago Bears)
"You have to be honest, have integrity, be able to cooperate and get along with other people. Sigma Chi is a great place to learn that and that's why it's a great thing to join this fraternity."
--Jim Palmer (ABC sportscaster, Hall of Fame Pitcher)

About The Rush Program
Rush consists of two weeks of social activities, during which we hope to meet and find out as much as we can about you. Likewise, it is your opportunity, as a rushee, to discover as much as you can about the various fraternities on campus. It is a time to evaluate and determine which organizations best suit your temperaments, talents, and convictions, and to find the group with whom you feel the most comfortable.
Our Rush is a dry-rush, meaning that there is no alcohol allowed at any of our rush events. We believe that this provides a better opportunity for conversation and friendship than would otherwise be possible.
